1. Thank you for a great 2026 Homecoming Weekend. The Class Dances were a huge success--over 200 of you participated in them. The dance saw 1400+ people in the quad for a Night in Naboo that included games, food and dancing. The year is just beginning with events like the Fall Play, the COFA Quad Show, Soak a Senior for Breast Cancer Angels, Home Basketball Games, IFF and so much more that makes Sunny Hills a truly amazing place. Great start to the year everyone---Keep being a part of that Lancer Life. 

2. This Thursday---Sept 24th---is the last day to claim items that were lost or confiscated at Saturday's dance. After Thursday, the items will be thrown away. IF you lost something at Homecoming you can come to Room 6 and hopefully find it. Remember---you only have until Thursday to claim them in ROOM 6 

3. Seniors: Apply for the NHS Scholarship! Graduating seniors who are active NHS members in good standing are eligible for the National Honor Society Scholarship, $2 million awarded nationally this year, with individual awards ranging from $3,200 up to $25,000. Deadline: November 20, 2026, 5:00 p.m. ET — apply early! How to apply (3 steps):

1.Create a student account at nationalhonorsociety.org/students/student-accountsNational Honor Society

2.Get verified by your NHS adviser

3.Complete the application at nationalhonorsociety.org/scholarship
