Sunny Hills High School

1. Last week Cross Country competed at the Century Conference Finals. Frosh Girls placed 1st and JV Boys placed 2nd. On Girls Varsity -- Mia Gonzales and AJ Dorris qualified for CIF Prelims as individuals. On Boys Varsity -- Charlie Munoz, Ronin Nguyen, Carter Lopez, Jadon Ho, Aaron Gelvezon, Danny Haan, Jimmy Haan, JP Barker, and Kevin Hur qualified for CIF as a team. They compete next Friday at Mt. SAC. Great job Cross Country!

2. Lancers! Don't forget, Cal Poly Pomona college admissions representatives will be hosting an information session during lunch today in the library! Learn about majors, financial aid, and admissions requirements with friends, and ask questions! Later this week we'll welcome Cal State East Bay and University of Oregon during lunch, as well. See Ms. Corona in the College and Career Center in room 2 if you have questions about upcoming college visits

3. Attention students & athletes... do you like to run, jump, or throw? Track & Field will be holding an interest meeting on Friday, November 7th in the Library at 3:30 pm. If you've been looking for a sport to join, please attend the meeting to review tryout requirements and get more information on the upcoming Track & Field season. Reach out to Coach Holloway with any questions

4. During lunch on Wednesday we will have our community partners giving out resources and information in the Quad! Please make sure and stop by to learn more about ways they can support you and your family. There will be fun activities, goodies, and more!
