1.Attention! Boys Soccer Players, Last Chance soccer tryouts, happening today after school from 3:30-4:15. All participants must be athletically cleared to try out! See you out on the soccer field!
2.The Lancer Theatre Company proudly presents its fall play, The Importance of Being Earnest. This classic comedy follows a young man who invents a false identity to escape social expectations, only to find himself caught in a whirlwind of romance, confusion, and clever wit.
3.Tickets are on sale now online -buy early to secure the best seats, as prices increase at the door. COFA credit is available for attending, so don’t miss out! The show runs for one weekend only, Thursday, November 6 through Saturday, November 8, offering 4 performances full of sharp humor, charming characters, and unforgettable fun. We can’t wait to see you there.
4.Boys Golf Tryouts will be on Wednesday, December 3rd at 4:30 PM at Westridge Golf Club. Meet at the lower level of the driving range and bring your own clubs. If you have questions, contact Coach Enrico in room 57.
5.Attention athletes! If you are interested in trying out for baseball, our final tryouts will be November 13th & 14th after school @ 3:45 on the varsity baseball field. You must be athletically cleared in order to participate!
6.Lancers! Don't forget, University of Oregon college admissions representatives will be hosting an information session during lunch today in the library! Next week we will be hosting Cal State Los Angeles, Cal Poly Humboldt, Boston University, Princeton, and Biola University. Continue checking your email for the weekly Guidance Gazette newsletter for the most up-to-date college visit calendar, and sign-up for an email reminder for colleges of interest with planned visits this November! See Ms. Corona in the College and Career Center if you have any questions.
7.Do you love to sing, act, or dance? If so, listen up. Auditions for the Spring Musical, Matilda, are coming up soon. Come out to the informational meeting Monday, November 10th, after school, in the choir room. During this meeting you will go over the audition process and how to sign up. All students are welcome to come to this meeting. Anyone is welcome to audition, no experience is necessary. For more information, contact Mr. Penuelas. We hope to see you there!
8.Today during lunch we will have our community partners giving out resources and information in the Quad! Please make sure and stop by to learn more about ways they can support you and your family. There will be fun activities, goodies, and more!
