Joining a new school is an exciting time, and we’re proud to welcome your family into our Lancer community. We are here to walk you through the enrollment process and look forward to supporting your student’s academic success and growth throughout their educational journey.
How to Enroll
Parents/Guardians can complete the enrollment process quickly and easily through our secure Aeries Online Enrollment Portal. To determine your designated school of residence or home school, please use the School Locator to look up the attendance boundaries for your address.
If you live within the SHHS’s attendance boundaries and would like to enroll your student:
- Visit the Aeries Online Enrollment Portal to create an account and complete your student’s enrollment submission.
- Be sure to have the necessary documents ready, such as proof of residency, birth certificate, immunization records, and prior school transcripts.
If you live outside of the SHHS’s attendance boundaries and need to request an Intra/Inter-District transfer permit:

Families residing outside of SHHS’s attendance boundaries, but within FJUHSD, are encouraged to go through the Open Enrollment process or to apply to one of our Special Academic Programs.

Families residing outside of the FJUHSD are encouraged to apply for enrollment through our Special Programs Application process.
Please review the Open Enrollment or Special Programs application information to understand eligibility requirements and prepare the necessary documentation for submission.
For specific questions or assistance, please contact our Guidance Office at (714) 626-4208. The Guidance Office is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Documents required for enrollment:
- Documentation of Age
- Birth Certificate or Passport
- Proof of Residency
- Mortgage Statement
- Rental or Lease Agreement
- Current gas, water or electric utility bill
- Immunization Records
- Unofficial Transcript (for current high school students) or 8th grade report card (for middle/ junior high school students)
- Proof of withdrawal from current high school, if applicable
- Copy of current IEP or 504, if applicable
Upon completing the Aeries Online Enrollment:
- Our staff may contact you by phone or email to schedule an appointment or request additional information needed to complete enrollment. If you did not upload the required documents during online enrollment, you will be asked to email them or bring them to the SHHS Guidance Office.
- FJUHSD utilizes two different Aeries portals:
- Aeries Online Enrollment is used to enroll new students into our district.
- Aeries Student Information System is used by parents and students to access attendance, grades, reports, test results, electronic report cards, electronic transcripts, and other documents related to the student. The district will create separate accounts for each parent and student.
- Aeries will send the parent portal login email to the email address you provided when enrolling your student(s).
- Parents can also complete the Data Confirmation for the upcoming school year through the Aeries Student Information portal. This is a step by step process in which the parent/guardian verifies student information such as contacts, emergency contacts, physical address/mailing address, medical information, authorizations, and family information.
